Step-by-Step: Creating Email Accounts in cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel

  • Visit your cPanel login URL (e.g., https://yourdomainname.com:2083)

  • Enter your domain email address (e.g., example@yourdomainname.com)

  • Enter your password

  • Click Log In

 

2. Navigate to Email Settings

  • Once inside cPanel, scroll down to the “Email” section

  • Click on “Email Accounts”

 

3. Create a New Email Account

  • Click the “Create” button (usually top-right)

  • Fill in the following fields:

    • Domain: Select the domain (e.g., yourdomainname.com)

    • Username: Enter the desired email prefix (e.g., info, sales)

    • Password: Enter a secure password or click “Generate” to auto-create one

 

4. Save the Account

  • Click “Create” at the bottom of the form

  • You’ll see a confirmation message and the new email will appear in the list

 

5. Access the Email

  • You can now access the email via:

    • Webmail (e.g., https://yourdomainname.com/webmail)

    • Email clients like Outlook or Thunderbird using IMAP/SMTP settings
